Warndu

Meet Damien Coulthard, an Adnyamathanha man from the Northern Flinders and Gammon Ranges in South Australia. These areas are of great importance to the Adnyamathanha people both socially and environmentally. Damien's wife, Rebecca Sullivan, is a self-taught cook who has worked with top food producers, activists, chefs, and academics. Together, they founded Warndu, which translates to 'good' in the Adnyamathanha language, native to the Flinders Ranges region in South Australia. Their aim is to regenerate and celebrate culture, community, tradition, health, and soil. Their products showcase Australian native ingredients. Damien's leadership and commitment to bringing together Indigenous food growers and his culture are commendable, making it possible for all Australians to learn, celebrate, and enjoy.
