Big Heart Bamboo was founded in 2014 by Becca, continuing the work of her father, who planted their bamboo farm in 1989. Becca is passionate about the health and environmental benefits of bamboo. She is grateful to be continuing her father’s legacy and making produce while incorporating the ingredients of other local producers who share a passion for clean, sustainable growing practices. The Big Heart Bamboo plantations are nestled into the foothills of the Mapleton National Park ranges, home to many native species of endangered or near-threatened frogs, mammals, and birds.
