This gin is one of three from our founding gin range, including Monsoon Gin and Gin 10. We recommend this gin for those who love a classic, citrus-forward gin and is our go-to gin for a more classic G&T garnished with lime. Sleek, citrus-forward and grounded by juniper, angelica and liquorice root, this gin is bursting with lime zest and lemon myrtle driving this citrus-forward style, with a fragrant, soft and smooth finish. Bass & Flinders was originally established with a dream to produce fine Australian brandies, and so we decided to distil wine into spirit - eau de vie, for maturation in French oak barrels. While this spirit was ageing we turned to gin, and this fresh and vibrant Signature Gin was born. What makes this gin so unique within the Australian gin landscape, is that we use this same eau de vie as the base spirit for this gin. First released in 2014, back then we were one of only 30 distilleries across the country. Little did we know this was only the beginning of Australia's love affair with Aussie craft gin, a movement we're proud to be. This gin was handcrafted from scratch using our ‘Méthode Eau de Vie’ - the art of distilling wine into spirit.
