Springmount Spiced Pear Chai Latte

Indulge in the warm, spiced flavours of a homemade Springmount Spiced Pear Chai Latte. This delightful drink combines the richness of black tea, creamy milk, and the unique sweetness of Springmount Spiced Pear Paste, all enhanced by fragrant spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of desired milk (we recommend full cream milk for a creamier latte)

  • 3 tsp Springmount Fine Foods Spiced Pear Paste

  • 1 Outback Chef Australian black tea bag (or 2 grams of loose-leaf black tea)

  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

  • Optional: Star anise and/or cinnamon stick to serve​

Method:

  • In a saucepan bring the milk to a simmer over low medium heat.

  • Once the milk is hot, add the tea bag and allow the tea to steep for 2 – 4 minutes, depending on your desired strength of tea.

  • Remove tea bag and stir in the Spiced Pear Paste.

  • Once dissolved sprinkle in your cinnamon and nutmeg and serve hot. Enjoy!

  • Optional: Add star anise and/or cinnamon stick to serve for a totally Instagramable cuppa!
