A modern twist on an old-school classic, the Nutty Sazerac blends the deep, smooth character of Bass & Flinders Noble Stranger Australian Brandy with walnut and chocolate bitters. Finished with a hint of aromatic absinthe, it’s a sophisticated cocktail that balances tradition with contemporary flair.

Method:

  1. Rinse a chilled Double Old Fashioned glass with absinthe or mist it over the top of the cocktail later. Add crushed ice and set the glass aside.
  2. In a mixing glass, combine the brandy, sugar syrup, walnut bitters, and chocolate bitters.
  3. Fill with ice and stir 30 times for perfect dilution.
  4. Discard the crushed ice and absinthe from the Old Fashioned glass.
  5. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
